What happens to your data?
Controller
The Write Stuff, Aksel Møllers Have 14, 6. tv, 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark. Contact: [email protected].
What we process
When you send the contact form or the brief: name, email, optional organisation and your message (brief answers are combined into the message). The data is sent through our web host’s mail function (contact.php) as an email to [email protected]. The form does not store messages in a database on the server.
Purpose and legal basis
To answer your enquiry. The basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to requests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (f)). You can withdraw consent by writing to us.
Abuse protection
To limit spam, the server counts attempts per visitor using a pseudonymous key (a SHA-256 hash of domain and IP address) — not the IP address itself. At most five attempts per 15 minutes. The counter is kept outside the public web folder and is deleted automatically once older than 15 minutes.
Retention
Enquiries are kept in our email as long as needed to answer them and any follow-up collaboration, then deleted. We have not set a fixed period in months; ask us if you want your data deleted.
Local storage and cookies
The site uses no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies and no external fonts or media. Your browser’s localStorage holds only your cookie choice and, if you start one, a draft of your brief. You can clear the draft on the brief page and reopen the cookie choice from the footer.
Recipients
Our web host (Hostinger) processes data as a processor to run the site and send email. We do not sell or share data with others.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. Write to [email protected]. You may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
